Workout at pregnancy is really important for you and your baby, and also will make you look better and feel better. When you are pregnant it doesn’t mean that you must get fat, you can exercise during pregnancy and have a great shape. If you exercised before getting pregnant you can continue the same (of course you need to check it out with your doctor). If you want to start now to exercise you can start safely, there are many exercises that you can do in a group or at home (you should consult with your doctor first). First of all you need to start slowly like 10 minutes at a time ad so on, till you will have 20-30 minutes a day.
Exercise During Pregnancy
When I was pregnant I knew that I must start an exercise program, cause I was a couch potato till now. I was searching around the web and find that the best exercise during pregnancy is walking, yoga, stretching and aerobics specially for pregnant women. I was walking 3 times a week for an hour each time and I also found a great video of aerobics for pregnant women that I really recommended, you can see it here:
Can I do all the activities?
You can’t do all the activities, there are few activities you should avoid:
- High risk sport – sport like scuba diving and snow boarding.
- Exercise that you use your stomach – like sit-ups
- If you didn’t run before, don’t start when you pregnant.
- Weight lifting.
- Before you start any exercise you must consult with your doctor what’s good for you.
